I am being harassed by a Ms. Carter and a Matt Lawson with Vital Processing Services (supposedly out of GA). They are calling from multiple phone numbers. The phone numbers are from GA and ME. They are claiming that I have an outstanding credit card debt of $18,000 from 15 years ago which I know I don't have. They tried to get me to agree to a $5,000 settlement. They have been threatening daily me with multiple voicemails since I have been ignoring and blocking their calls. They have even gone as far as contacting my employer/HR dept trying to garnish my wages. They have not provided any written documentation or proof of the debt. They say that I will have to go to court, they will garnish my wages, put a lien on my property, freeze my bank accounts and so on. They are relentless and will not stop. This has been going for over a week and I do not know what to do. They know where I live and where I work and they say that they have all of my vital info. I honestly do not know what they are going to do next. I have been in contact with the police, but there is nothing they can do. I want this matter looked into. I need the harassment to stop! This is causing great distress and a negative impact on my personal and professional life.
