Received an unsolicited email from a company purporting to be a Merrell Athletic Shoe distributor. The distributor Savesports.com claimed to be having a close out sale on older model Merrell hiking shoes. I have the exact same pair that they were offering. mine are a little beat up so I decided to go for the deal as the offered pair were discounted some 70%. After waiting 31 days for delivery nothing arrived. The tracking website, 17Track, tracking number KJ1000023439CN, advised me the package was delivered to my local post office on Sun 8/19. This was a lie. Post Office is closed on Sunday. The tracking site also advised my package was delivered 8/19. Another lie it never was. Today, 8/22 I contacted Merrell directly and was told that this transaction was fraudulent and to contact my credit card company. i did and have filed a dispute.
