Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I received a voicemail from Stacy Barber calling from National Asset Management in regards to a civil complaint that has been filed against "either you, your social or someone associated with this number", demanding an immediate call back from me or my legal representative at 833-795-5753 with a "good luck" at the end of the message. I called the number back and someone answered "hello?", I said "hello", they said "hello", I said "hello", they said "National Asset Management", and sounded drunk, slurring their words. I said "I'm returning a call" and they asked for a reference number. I said I didn't have one, they said just a second and sounded like they were getting out of bed or something. I responded, "What a joke" and hung up the phone.
