The recruiter (Vicrant - Vicky) contacted me through LinkedIn for a remote vacancy and asked to call me. In the call he had an Indian accent, asked me for a lot of information, asked questions about my resume but they didn't look like other recruiters. He also asked personal questions, such as full name, date of birth and the last SSN numbers. I was suspicious when he asked for social security and I asked him to send an email, he said he sent it during the call and wanted me to click on the blue email button to fill in this information, claiming that it was necessary for the client in question.
