BURNJARO, SLIMFlORA, CARTPANDA SCAM VIA STAMPS.COM & USPS When I viewed the online Burn Jaro/SlimFlora advertising video that included Oprah Winfrey’s very persuasive testimonial concerning her successful weight loss experience using Burn Jaro, I was happy to hear that she had finally found something that worked for her. I used Mounjaro to lose much of the weight I gained because of my hypothyroid disease and insulin resistance and thought that taking Burn Jaro might be a natural way to maintain my weight loss for the long-term. Before I buy unfamiliar products online, I usually check the product reviews and complaints, but I have always admired Opray and was persuaded by her heartfelt presentation to order 6 bottles of Burn Jaro. However, the hype-filled lures that subsequently encouraged me to buy more bottles of Burn Jaro and other products made me suspicious. Therefore, after I placed my order (#6184) on July 30, I checked the reviews and complaints about Burn Jaro and found information suggesting that it only works for about 29% of the people who take it, while 35% experienced no benefit at all. In addition, the bottles in my order contained only 30 capsules and cost more than bottles containing 60 capsules that were being sold elsewhere online. It took me a while to find out how to cancel the order, but only 44 minutes after I placed my order, I sent an e-mail message cancelling the order. This quickly resulted in an e-mail message saying that I couldn’t cancel my order because it had already been shipped. This seemed highly unlikely and proved to be a lie when I received another message asking me to verify my delivery address so that my order could be shipped. I did not respond to this message but quickly sent another message cancelling the order again. At that point I called my credit card company to dispute the “pending charge” and was advised to call again two days later to dispute the “posted charge,” which I did. The representatives I spoke with at my credit card company, Bank of America, were very helpful and seemed happy when I called to tell them that the burnjaro/cartpanda SCAM was included in the Better Business Bureau website’s list of SCAMs. As my attempts to cancel the Burn Jaro order were repeatedly denied, I was offered several options – to keep the product for a 30% discount or wait to receive the product and then return it for a refund, which according to online complaints may never be sent. Then, I received a message saying that I could not return the product for a full refund unless I had used it for 60 days, by which time the deadline to dispute the charge with my credit card company would have past. In spite of my repeated attempts to cancel the order, I received more messages saying that the product was shipped on August 1 and would arrive on August 5. When the package of Burnjaro arrived from Cartpanda via Stamps.com on August 5, my USPS mail carrier took a picture of the label, marked the package as “Denied” and returned it to Cartpanda. There is a now a notification on my USPS Informed Delivery account saying “DI not available for this package,” but Cartpanda.com keeps trying to resend it to me. Please Note: I tried to send you the e-mail correspondence and notes related to this SCAM, but it wouldn't go through. If you need that or any other information, please let me know. I am very grateful to the first person who first reported this SCAM to you; it helped my credit card company to resolve the problem successfully for me.
