Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I keep receiving scam emails from a company I discovered (by calling the phone number) is called Guardian Protection Group. They have no web presence. Supposedly the Program Coordinator is named Jeff Morton (this is the name of the person on the mail). They are trying to sell fake car warranties. The mail has nothing but a phone number to call in which I am supposed to give them my car's VIN and current mileage. Online research reveals they are scammers.
