This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Someone with the email mentioned earlier reached out claiming to be a headhunter for a company with a possible job offer. They asked for my resume which I sent. The person quickly responded saying, "Your experience is aligned with the role, but your resume is not ATS-friendly. Kindly adapt your resume to be ATS-friendly as I need it asap. For creating an ATS friendly resume, please visit https://resumeswritingpro.com/ and send me your ATS resume once the recommended website has completed it.". After looking into it, it sounds like this website takes payment to "modify" the website to fit the expectations, but others have been scammed on the same or similar website and scammer. I reported this email for phishing and blocked the user.
