GovAssist.com promised to obtain passport renewal in 4-6 weeks. At the end of that time, I contacted GovAssist and was told to apply to Dept. of State which would then take another 4-6 weeks. GovAssist did not provide the service they promised. I paid for nothing and seek the return of the $302.95 that I paid. In addition, I may not get my passport in time for my intended trip. Finally, they have taken my personal information, including my social security number. I believe this company is running a scam and am concerned that my information may be used improperly or sold.
