I am currently job searching. I was contacted via text message by an agency claiming to recruit and/or represent the Faulkner group. They stated I applied for a work from home account representative position and to receive more information about the job reply “YES”. I did, and another text was sent a few minutes later stating that if I wanted to schedule a Zoom interview to follow the link below and that I will receive an email confirmation from Marlin Faulkner. I found that very odd given that is the company‘s namesake, how would he have time to contact every low level applicant before even receiving a job offer? I began doing research on the companies website that was also in the text message, which looked a bit suspicious. I immediately felt uncomfortable and began doing research, I do not remember applying for this role as I am not interested in any 1099 positions. This job is a commission only role with no healthcare benefits. It claims that you can work from home, as much or as little as you would like and whatever you take home is completely up to you, classic scam. also, this company is not at all related to Faulkner car dealership, this is an insurance agency probably using that very popular name to hide behind online. Do not give any information to this company. If I had applied for this role, it was because I believed it was associated with Faulkner dealership.
