I received a text message from someone purporting to be "Mabel with Robert Half Recruiting", offering me a potential job opportunity to help companies like Costco and Sam's Club with customer engagement. With the exception of the sketchy email address that the text came from, the text message itself is detailed and free from spelling and grammar errors. Furthermore, it uses the name of a real recruitment/marketing company which lends to its legitimacy. The text notes that the position is "flexible and can be done from anywhere" in an age where remote work is heavily valued.
