Description
Very realistic ad for J. Jill merchandise appeared on Facebook, with links to an actual catalog, I believe. I ordered a dress at a really low price, got an email confirming my order. It was taking quite a while to have an update on delivery, so I contacted the email given and did receive a reply that the item would be shipped. Eventually I received tracking information showing that the item was on its way from China! Every couple of days I'd receive another update, but it was taking so long that I went through the J. Jill site and contacted them and they told me there had no record of my order # and that there had been scams. They said only to order from their site, which I thought I was doing. I was still, like a dummy, hoping that something would arrive from the other source, or why would they bother with the updates? This morning, 8/10/25, the latest tracking info said the item had been delivered, which it has not. Probably too late to get any help from credit card company since i waited so long.
