On June 7, 2025 while I was on Instagram an advertisement for Crate and Barrel was seen advertising a warehouse sale for Crate and Barrel. I clicked on the link to shop now which took me to a legitimate looking website of Crate and Barrel. Note: This is a favorite website of mine and the website looked legitimate. I made my purchase and placed this order. This advertisement was on Instagram for two days and then disappeared. After olacing my order I received a receipt for my order which provided a link for tracking items, an email if any questions, and a few days after placing my order I was able to click on link and I would go to the website. I also received a email response from PayPal saying: You paid $51.00 USD to TANG TANG KNUTH TECHNOLOG., Payment to [email protected]., Merchant Transaction ID: 1ST93092KX384430X., and Your Transaction ID:62956248E40911325. Also on this email receipt was: This credit card transaction will appear on your statement as PAYPAL *TANGKNUTHTE I took screenshots of the websites for Crate and Barrel but also for the JoAnn website. I was keeping track of Crate and Barrel from the link for tracking item. There is tracking of this purchase leaving China all the way to the USA. The tracking shows arrival to USA and a delivery was made on August 3, 2025, and showed as delivered to me on that date. There was nothing deliver to me from Crate and Barrel or anyone in China.
