I saw what appeared to be a legit page on instagram doing a giveaway/drawing for tickets to a football game. Under it, it said secondary winners would be selected for the sunglasses. I thought it was weird I had to message Sendy Shades to tell them I entered the contest since they weren’t the ones running it but that wasn’t important. When they messaged, I was happy because I never win anything and I’ve been really sick with a ton of medical things so I was really excited at first. But a little digging, I found tons of Reddit posts about this company and the scam… then I saw it posted here on bbb… so I messaged Sendy Shades and sent them the BBB review and told them that it was a really low thing to do to people who are struggling. They responded by spamming me posts from other people stories thanking them for the sunglasses (which they probably got free, fake accounts, or were asked by Sendy shades to do the reviews in exchange for other things) and then gave some snarky comment that said “ Yeah we are scammers. People hate our sunglasses and we should probably stop selling them. 1 out of 75,000 orders. Not saying you have to get them but that’s ridiculous“ I responded to tell them it wasn’t one order, it’s all over Reddit too, not just this BBB review. I told them their responses were unprofessional and blocked them because why am I going to waste my time on these people going back and forth. I’m sorry but when someone gets immediately defensive like that, it’s a red flag.
