I received this text message on 8/5/2025 at 11:43am. It mentions the specific position I applied for, through Indeed, on 7/29/2025. I am located in Tucson, AZ and the text came from a Chicago, IL area code, not unusual around here as many companies hire external HR agencies for hiring processes. Unfortunately, I opened the link which led to a form which asked for minimal information (Name and time slot choices for an interview are what I remember off hand). - Hi (victim), you applied for the Inventory Assistant position on Indeed.com. Let's get to know each other better! To move forward, please fill out this form https://forms.gle/WrJrnDhSzpXNhMhh6 so I can interview you and we can move to the next step. Thanks!
