I applied for a secure personal loan offered in Canada by AvenaWise through the company website (https://www.avenawise.ca). The online form requires personal information, such as applicant's name and contact details, name and contact of two references, employment details, name and contact of work supervisor. It also conducts a banking verification through FLINKS. All these steps seemed standard for an online loan application. After completing the application, they even sent a text message from the phone number +1 (438) 299-8720 saying the loan application has been activated. During the online application, they stated that an agent will be in touch in an an hour after reviewing the application for next steps. It has been more than 24 hours and no contact. The Telephone number: +1 (873) 505-0766 listed on the website does not take calls. AvenaWise IS A SCAM! BE AWARE!
