I applied for a job, received an interview, but the interview while on teams was only through messaging. Got a job offer and asked to fill out an I9 form. Once I filled out the I9, they then said that they were going to send me a Macintosh laptop but that I needed to pay for the software upfront and then they would reimburse in the first paycheck. So I went ahead and paid the $370. Then they said, about 2 days later, that I needed to pay another $458 for more supplies or they couldn't send the laptop.
