This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
The scam was on Facebook marketplace and it had an ad in it which said buy some shoes name brand shoes for a fraction of the price it had seemed like a legit website you punched in your your number for your credit card. It said on a trustworthy device and I never received anything. They gave me a fake tracking number and it was on 17 track and it was a fake tracking number and I still haven't received anything from these people and I can't get in touch with them
