This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I was reached out to about a job offer. They wasted my day with an interview process on text via teams, asked for me to send money for equipment via Bitcoin through Cashapp after confirming I got the job, sent me documents to fill out and then got upset when I asked to speak with HR about the money for the equipment and it's been radio silent since. Do NOT trust these people, this is a scam.
