This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Seems like some group of scammers is pretending to be hiring for a portion of a Disney owned company. Looks like data harvesting and probably also has some sort of financial scheme involved. I hope these scammers get put in prison for preying on vulnerable people who are actively looking for jobs. I will copyand paste the message I received as an example to others who might think they’re running into this same scam. Hi, I'm Jasmine Martine, HR Customer Service Representative at WBD Global Streaming. We got your number by working with multiple HR platforms. So, our company has a position for you as a Content Promotion Assistant. This is a great remote part-time/full-time online job with one-on-one mentoring to help you get started. Salary is paid on a daily basis. If you like, you can earn from $100 to $500 per day. Monthly salary is about $6,300. 3-day paid trial period, and $688 full-time employee joining bonus after the trial period. Note [You must be 20 years old or older] Please send a message to this number:15623848524 I also looked up the number they want you to reply to, and it traces back to a 3 unit storefront on Osgood RD, Fresno, California. I assume they’re using a public businesses WiFi router but it’s worth investigating.
