I ordered a dress from Lavish Ivy in November 2024 after seeing an advertisement on TikTok for the dress. I clicked the link and it brought me to their website and I ordered the dress. The dress eventually arrived and it was very poor quality and not as advertised. Fast forward 8 months later I am checking my bank account and notice that Lavish Ivy has been taking $29 a month out of my bank account without my knowledge or consent. I immediately contacted my bank to block them from Lavish Ivys transactions and filed a claim. I reached out to Lavish Ivy and they told me when I purchased my dress I agreed to a subscription, which is why they’ve been stealing my money. NOWHERE on their website did it mention clearly that I was signing up for a subscription. NO confirmation email about signing up for a subscription was ever sent to me. NO receipts for the $29/month charges were ever sent to me… NOTHING! Their website is very sneaky and they will charge anyone who purchases something for a monthly membership and it does not clearly state so. This is very fraudulent and unacceptable. After they informed me of that I told them to cancel it immediately. Their response was “ Thanks for reaching out — and no worries at all, we’ve received your request to cancel your VIP membership. At the moment, our team is in the process of updating our internal systems to serve you better, so VIP cancellations are temporarily on hold for just a few days. But rest assured — your request has been noted, and we’ll process your cancellation as soon as our system update is complete. You won’t need to do anything further — we’ve got you on our priority list, and you’ll receive a confirmation email once it’s finalized.We truly appreciate your patience during this brief transition.” This was 8 days ago and I have yet to receive a confirmation that they cancelled my “subscription” I have been leaving comments on their instagram posts and they delete any and all comments of people who call them out for this scam. I’ve done some digging and this has happened to so many others. I was doing some more digging and thought that if they signed me up for a “subscription” then I should have some kind of credit on their website since they have been taking my money since December 2024. There is no such credit and they’ve just been stealing my money each month since then. This is unethical and unacceptable. They are scammers and need to be shut down immediately.
