Customer and Vendor scam. We were contacted by an impersonated employee of Orion Marine Group. This was from email [email protected] which is a fake email address and phone 817-482-9078.. He was needing a specific part PFL84145930B-83. The fake customer had sent over a purchase order signed by the CEO of a publicly traded company which should have been a red flag. The fake vendor that we were directed to was https://phantezflow.com/ at 214 Jon St, Douglas, WY 82633, 307-500-5421 with email [email protected] which would not sell to us directly and we had to go through their distributor Sancassiano Equipment Company. Website sanequipments.com based at 50 Ramsey Rd, Shirley, NY 11967 with phone number 631-440-2277 and email [email protected]. The distributor offered us 50% prepayment then remaining 50% net 30 days or 100% prepayment 5% discount. We chose the discount to save a few dollars. We had received a signed credit application from the fake customer and credit references. The credit references were all fake but we did not verify those until after the fact since Orion Marine Group was an existing customer. The imposters were very nice with their emails and the documents they provided. They kept them updated while we were waiting on shipping information the kept getting delayed.
