I went online and was looking into weight loss shot medications. I had looked at Futur, but it was pretty expensive, so I decided not to go through with that company. The next day, I received a text from Futur about their program, which includes the weight loss shot, doctor guidance, a nutrition plan, and a few other things. I didn’t respond because I knew it was too expensive.
Then, the text messages started asking why I didn’t move forward with their program. I replied and explained that it was too expensive and that I wanted the terzepatide medication, not semaglutide. They told me they did offer the medication I was looking for, but I reiterated that it was still too expensive—it was a $229 monthly prescription, plus an additional $399/month for the medication.
That’s when they offered me a deal: $229/month for everything, including the medication. I asked multiple times if that included the medication cost, and each time, I was told yes—it covered everything. So, I went ahead, signed up, and paid the $229.
However, the next day, they tried to charge my account an additional $399. I immediately called customer service and asked why they attempted to withdraw $399 after I had already paid the agreed-upon price. The person on the phone said he wasn’t aware of any such deal. I then emailed him screenshots of the entire text thread showing that I was told it would be $229/month total, and that this pricing would continue for the duration of my subscription.
He put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then came back saying he didn’t know of any such offer and claimed it must have come from someone not affiliated with their company. I asked him, “If that’s the case, why did the link in the text messages go directly to your website? And why was it your company that attempted to charge me $399—twice?”
I told him that if Futur wouldn’t honor the price I was promised—by someone from their company—then I wanted a refund. He said he would submit a refund ticket and that it would take 48–72 hours. I also asked, “If it was a scammer who gave me the wrong deal, how were you able to see that I had paid for the product?”
It has now been a week since I first asked for a refund, and I still haven’t received it. I’ve been following up daily, and every time I reach out, I’m told to wait another 1–2 days. I asked again today (7/24/25) and was told it’s “under review.” I asked what exactly they’re reviewing, since I paid and never received any of the product I ordered.
I’m getting very frustrated with this company and will never deal with them again. I have all the texts, emails, and support chats where I was given the runaround. I just want my $229 refunded—but at this point, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. They are a bad business with horrible customer service.
