This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Phone caller said he was a broker from Real Estate Professionals LLP, Boston, 89-93 Franklin St. 5th Floor, interested in brokering a sale of our 2 properties in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Several calls and emails led to our signing a non-binding letter of intent to accept the buyer's offer. After he explained the final steps leading to the closing, he said Premier Land Title LLC at 419 N 10th St. Louis, MO 63101 would contact us to complete final steps including opening an irrevocable escrow account in a MEXICAN bank, Banco Santander. The land title contact person was Steve Williams. But 5 days ago we decided to hire a licensed USA investigator and received his report today. And our suspicions about both companies. have been confirmed. So we spent a little money to save much more when Mr. Williams would have insisted we'd need to pay a significant Mexican fee to withdraw funds held in "OUR" Mexican account. And conveniently the deal woul :fall through as soon as we paid the fee. Thanks to another scam report on this website which named the fraudulent Premier Land Title company and its criminal spokesperson.
