Last week when I opened my Apple wallet, I saw a strange charge from a site called Oak and Cedars for $29.99. I clicked on it and the website had no link so I googled it. I found a phone number and called and the customer service representative was extremely unprofessional and refused to give me the name of the actual company which I thought was strange. she said she would only give me the information, if I provided her with my personal information and the last four digits of the card. I gave her some identifying information but not the card information. I already felt unsafe so I told her all I need is the name of this company. she said I can’t tell you the name of the company that did that so then I assumed this is a fake company and there’s another company she is talking about under this umbrella. she said we manage many different companies at the same time. I decided to Google the name cedars and fraud and I came up with Cedars and Ash and sure enough, that was the company that actually charged me! They canceled the $29.99 and said it was a subscription when I bought one of the products from their site which I did purchase but never signed up for any kind of subscription. She said the subscription was automatic when you buy anything from them, which is insane! This is similar to the other comment on this company as they charge a fake subscription fee when you buy a three dollar item from their site, etc. they are also using fake shell company names/sites under this parent company, which is also fraudulent. Thankfully, Apple caught it and reversed the charge, but this is fair warning to everyone!
