Description
Alex Flores contacted me via Facebook Messenger after I made a Facebook post asking for hardwood refinishing services. He came to my house and gave an estimate. I hired him and paid a $1200.00 deposit for sanding, staining, and sealing my floors. There was a one week timeline as furniture was being delivered. On the day he was supposed to show up, I messaged him and he sent a photo of himself in the hospital. He said he had heart disease and they were trying different medications for him but that he still should be able to do the job. I could not get in touch with him for the ensuing three days. Three days later when I made a Facebook post warning others, he messaged me saying he'd been mostly sleeping with new medication. I told him it was no problem, just refund my money and we will move on. He then stopped replying again. I filed a police report and the policeman suggested we file a suit for small claims court. We have done this, but he currently cannot be located to serve the paperwork for that suit. I have since uncovered NUMEROUS cases, suits, complaints, etc. on this person including violent crimes. He is very good at what he does.
