I received a group text at 6:14am on Sunday 7/20/2025 from phone number 224-203-0762 claiming the following: Florida Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Final Notice: Enforcement Penalties Begin on July 22. According to our records, your traffic fine is still unpaid. Florida Law 15C-16.003 mandates these penalties if unsettled by July 21, 2025: 1. Official reporting of the violation to DMV 2. Vehicle registration suspension effective July 22 3. Suspension of your license for 30 days 4. Debt collection referral (extra 35% fee applicable) 5.
