I recently signed up for a new license appointment with the DMV, only a few days later, this group text message appears: Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Final Notice: Enforcement Penalties Begin on July 23. According to our records, your traffic violation remains unpaid. Under Colorado Code 15C-16.003, if your fine is not settled by July 22, 2025, the following penalties will be enforced: 1. Official DMV violation recording 2. Revocation of vehicle registration from July 23 3. Driver’s license suspended (30 days) 4. Debt referred to collections (35% additional fee) 5.
