Interview Platform: Microsoft Teams This was followed by an odd but mostly convincing interview process via the MS Teams invitation but was clearly an AI bot for most of it. After I was accepted for the role a letter and check were FedEx'd to my home with instructions to cash the check and return the deposit slip - here is where they would finally get access to my bank account information and be able to do any withdraws. It was enticing as the check looked legit coming from Wells Fargo and for over $5k, but we declined to cash it at this point feeling it was fraudulent. We then searched this BBB Scam Tracker using both the email address in the letter and the bank account number on the check.
