Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

Phone call claiming that my son checked a box on his PSAT requesting PSAT practice test software. He said they were going to be mailing it out in 3-5 business days and needed a credit card for a deposit. If we didn't return the software within 30 days, we would then be charged $249 for keeping the software.
