I was contacted by this company via text claiming they found me through the CalJobs website asking if I would be interested in a data entry position. I expressed interest, which I was then to provide an email for further details of the job. It all seemed very suspicious, so I looked them up and came across this BBB complaint about the company. Turns out my gut was right all along, I will cease all contact with whoever is communicating with me on behalf of PROGRESS E-COMMERCE TRADE COMPANY which by the way, all caps is usually a strong indicator of a scam. The email I received was also suspicious as there was no contact information nor company website or logo in the body of the email.
