I applied for a front desk job on zip recruiter. I got a call from them stating I can come for an interview but to bring $150 with me to pay for cpr license, and osha. This person name was Roberto. I show up to the interview I was told I’d have to pay the $150 deposit for the licenses and then pay the remaining balance for the $949. He then told me I’d need my F-04. So I went back and paid the additional balance. He had me sign paperwork but he said it’s for me to start work so I never paid it any mind. But when I reached home I seen that I was “charged” for things that was never mentioned and they don’t even amount to $809. Then I seen a video on TikTok of a girl stating the same company has scammed her. She also stated that she paid him $360 which way less than what he told me to pay for. She then went onto say he makes advances at her and he does the same to me.I’ve been looking into it ever since and even on here it states they’re not BBB accredited. I’ve been trying to stall the man so I can find a way to go about the situation because I gave the man $809. The man name is as what he told me Tony but on the papers he signed it says Nero. And with me trying to figure out what to do next and stalling in conversation he stated he’s going to leave to go upstate.
