Ads were seen via Instagram, visited website by clicking from Instagram ad. Website looked legit, there wasn't a ton of historical evidence of the site or reviews which sent red flags. Placed an order anyway, received order confirmation and a couple days later a shipping confirmation email. The fact that there was no tracking info in the email was the second clue that this wasn't legit. Downloaded the Shop app to track the shippment (per the emails instruction). The app couldn't recognize the order (third red flag). Then I attempted to review my order by clicking on the link from the order email and the website no longer loaded. In fact, it no longer exists. Immediately contacted credit card company for fraudulent charge. After the fact, I started seeing more info about this scam of a company/site in my Google searches. Best advice I can give is to do your homework on the age of a site/domain. Be weary of anything opened within the last couple months.
