I received a letter in the mail with no return address which said in bold letters across the top: MICHIGAN ANNUAL STATEMENT PAST DUE: February 15, 2025 which arrived in late June. It has a QR code which takes you to a website which asks information about your business. I'm assuming that they would eventually require money from you, but I didn't take it that far. The message at the bottom says what another person who posted on the BBB website experienced, too: "All Michigan LLC's must file an annual statement each calendar year in order to remain compliant with Michigan law. Failure to file can result in fees and penalties, or dissolution of the entity. BUSFILE.org can ensure all filings are completed correctly and on time, and offer various services to renew automatically annually should you prefer.
