Received an email with Geek Squad heading, that stated that a subscription renewal had been processed and approved in the amount $498.98! Email stated that I had 24 hours to cancel to receive refund and can do so my calling (808) 551-2202 Help Desk. It may take up to 48 hours to see refund in my account. Called the telephone number, received a "not in service" message/recording. I looked up Geek Squad website on internet and called (855) 574-4740 to cancel subscription. Spoke with "Kelvin" (had South Asia accent). Allow access to my computer to show me that I needed the computer internet protection, that there were computer viruses, I refused to continue computer access and requested refund. Kelvin" told me that I needed my credit number ending in XXXX to also include the 3-digit numbers on the back of the card to send refund. I said that if the purchase was made then the refund can be return. He threatens that I would not be able to use my computer until this done, At this moment, my computer screen showed only, SCREENCONNECT, with a black background, I said that I no longer had that credit card. Another person, floor supervisor, was now on the phone. He too insisted on me giving the 3-didgit code on the back of my credit card.. After some back and forth regarding my credit card number, the phone call finally ended, they hung up. computer function appears to work fine.
