This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
“Federal Processing” sent a letter to our non-profit Emmaus Home (located at 2000 Sproul Rd, STE 106, Broomall, PA) requesting $599 to renew our registration for systems for award management (SAM), a government website used by non-profits to apply for federal grants and recieve grant dollars to be used for charitable purposes. Sam.gov is completely free of charge. Renewing registration is also free of charge and takes nothing more than the clicking of a few buttons. This company is predatory. They call themselves “Federal Processing” but have nothing to do with the Federal Government. They are misrepresenting themselves completely and are stating in the letter that, unless we pay them $599, we will lose our ability to recieve grant awards.
