on friday the 27th i came across an instagram post that advertised "everything free next 10 days for 4th of july." although usually in that case i would have thought it was too good to be true; i figured that because this was a "small business" that was "just starting out" that it could be just to get the brand out there. i did some research on the website and things seemed legit. it said to contact their instagram to place an order. so when i initially text the instagram account under the name of 'iamfashionpunkk' i basically just said hello i would like to place an order. they responded back with 'Regular shipping is $6, express is $8, and international is $7 choose one' which i thought was kind of odd but was like okay. so basically i chose the $8 express cause im thinking it will get here faster. they send me the link to where i put the information in to pay; another completely different website not where you place your order. i go on there and it literally says a subscription for $8 a day. so before i did anything and proceeded with my payment i texted the account to be 100% sure and asked if its $8 per day because thats what the link said when you went to pay, or is it a one time purchase of 8$? they responded back with "one time payment." so i go throught with my payment and everything. then they are advertising if you repost their post on instagram you get free stuff in your order and also they will send you $30 in cashapp. needless to say the cashapp never happened. but thats besides the point. then i texted them after i got my order confirmation that did not even have a shipping estimate on it or anything and i asked them if i would be receiving shipping information anytime soon? they said yes. then i asked them if they know, for their own small business, how long shipping typically takes. they told me they didnt know. they also followed that up with telling me that they are shipping out orders tonight. implying my order would be shipped out that night or possibly the days following directly after. by this time it is now saturday the 28th and i politely text the account and ask when i will get shipping information. i get a response of sorry i didnt respond yesterday we were getting orders ready and had something come up with family. with still no mention from them about the shipping information i was and have been inquiring about. so i asked them "okay .. should shipping info be sent here soon ? or do i have anyway of knowing what is going on with my order , i like to track my packages lol im impatient" trying to be nice because i felt bad that i kept bothering about my order. that was sunday @ 11am. no response so i responded with question marks at 8:15 pm. then still no response so at 11:32 pm and after their continuous posting with no response i texted "soo its almost been 3 days and i havent even received shipping information on my order.. when will i get that? i thought i paid for express shipping which i thought that would be quicker lol" with no response yet again. mind you this whole time ive been getting notifications that "fashionjunkiee" is trying to charge me more money to the exact same account i used to pay with in the beginning. right after that i am talking to my friend who was also sadly convinced by this poor scammer who informs me that she to has been getting notifications that they are trying to take more money. so thats when i decided to text them. so yesterday the 1st at 8pm i texted them "hello. i would like to know why my friend and i both just got charged again for $8 for "fashionjunkiee" when i asked you if this was a one time charge and you said yes?? also i paid for express shipping and i dont get my order until july 3rd-8th? i understand we only had to pay for shipping but this is a little bit ridiculous. then when im asking you about shipping information i get no response. i sure hope im not getting scammed. i was trying to support a small business and liked your product so i certainly hope thats not the case." with no response. they read it today and then i go back to see that i am blocked all of the sudden. but still posting about "free items" and "orders going out" but BLOCKED ME , a PAYING customer. as i am still getting notifications of them trying to take more and more of my hard earned money while having me blocked.
