My daughter thought she was calling Jet Blue to change her non refundable ticket and was told she had to but a first class ticket that would allow her to change flights. She was told her new ticket to first class would be cancelled and then refunded. I gave her my cc to buy the ticket. They even sent an email saying as much! After researching this post mortem, I found that all they did ("airline consolidators") was buy a $400 ticket for her to travel the next day and pocket the remaining $2600!!! BEWARE. make sure you are talking to who you think you are talking to. When they give you a "personal" phone number.....run!
