My daughter paid for Nebula Palmistry app service. The initial charge was for $5. Then she started getting "fraud" alerts on her phone thru text message and email. At first it seemed legitimate. But something just seemed off. So I searched the fraud number listed and it came back as a scam number. Only 1 digit off from the actual fraud number. And Nebula has tried to charge her debit card 2 seperate times using 2 different names. First name was Nebula PUI for $45. Then a second attempt 1 minute later from Nebulapalmistry for $45. The emails were the same. Looked legitimate until searching the numbers provided. What scares my daughter is how did they know her last purchase amount on her debit card? How did they get that info? She has canceled the subscription she was attempting to purchase (the original $5 charge). She is calling her bank in the morning and canceling any payments or charges and also her card to be safe.
