This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Message reads: "This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at ....... secured by your current lender which is ...... We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please call immediately as this will be our final attempt to notify you. 1-888-801-8190." Lower part of letter looks like a check but says "This is not a check."
