This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
We received a bogus letter from busfile.org that said our Michigan LLC's Annual Statement is PAST DUE. We confirmed with Michigan that our filing is in good order. There was a QR code that we did not click after a quick google search and trustpilot search showed this to be a scam. This was a waste of our time and a deceptive marketing practice that should be investigated/prosecuted. Thank you.
