I was trying to purchase a product off of TikTok when I see a link for the same product with free shipping. I clicked on it without realizing it would take me outside of TikTok and onto a site that looked legit but wasn’t. I purchased the product but when the confirmation and tracking email arrived a few minutes later it was from a site called cartalented.com. It sounded strange so I started looking and the product isn’t even listed for sale on the cartalented website for one thing. They immediately shipped the item and gave a tracking number for a strange looking shipping website. I do not know it would be feasible to ship immediately anyway. I checked my bank account and the amount they charged my account was more than their own confirmation email stated. I started searching for reviews of cartalented.com and found nothing but stories of ppl being scammed by them. I immediately started emailing the contact information on the website only to find the emails returned undeliverable. There is no way to contact this company that doesn’t really even exist. No one ever receives anything from them. The really strange thing is the item I purchased isn’t even for sale on their fake website or catalog. I have contacted my bank to see if there’s anyway to get my money back. I do not know at this point whether I can or not. Please do not purchase anything from cartalented.com. It is a complete scam!
