Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

The scammer reached out to me via text message offering me a job opportunity for a remote work from home part time position. The salary was way too good to be true offering $1,000 in base pay for every 4 days of work only working 1-2 hours a day. Base pay would be paid 6 times a month totaling $6,000 per a month for only an hour or 2 per a day. I than started looking into the company and found this has happened to someone else so now I'm skeptical, it for sure seems like a scam. Unfortunately, I can't give much more information because I felt it was a scam from the start and the only reason, I even messaged back was to get more information. From the fraud report I read on here this was absolutely the same people, and I can only assume that if I hadn't done the research than I would have been scammed. Please be aware scammers are getting more intuitive, and they are coming up with ways to try and gain your trust so they can take your money. This scammer tried to offer me a job and get me to pay for training. Don't fall for it! Be aware!
