Thank you, *****, for reaching out regarding your preference to keep your mortgage servicing with Ruoff Mortgage. We appreciate your loyalty and understand the importance of maintaining continuity in your financial relationships. We want to assure you that we didn't intend to mislead you. Your preference for Ruoff to service your loan wasn't communicated to us until after the closing process.
As you're aware from our previous communications, this wasn't our preferred outcome, we acknowledge that servicing transfers are common in our industry,but we wish it weren't so. We're actively working towards retaining and servicing more of our originated loans in-house in the future.
We apologize for not having a better understanding of your preference to retaining our servicing during your loan process. In retrospect,we could have explored potential options with you earlier. While our closing documents did mention the possibility of servicing transfer, we acknowledge that this information may be a lot to take in, and we'll work on making that information clearer in the future.
