I ordered a Fall subscription box in early summer and paid upon ordering. It was supposed to ship on September 1st. I checked the website throughout September to see if it had shipped, but it kept being delayed. On September 24 I checked the website and 2 of my shirts had been removed from my box and the total had been changed. I had not been notified and I had not been refunded what I overpaid. I emailed the company asking what happened and I was notified on September 26th that the shirts were removed from my box because they were sold out. Instead of setting aside ordered and paid for merchandise, the company continued to sell out of it on their non-subscription site until they couldn't fulfill the orders that were paid for. They did not notify or refund customers and only offered alternatives when customers noticed the issue with their order. They also said they were purposefully delaying sending my order until it was resolved, but had never notified me, so I suspect they were hoping customers wouldn't notice they had never recieved their boxes since they paid for them so long before the issue occurred. The styles I ordered were sold out and discontinued before I ever learned of the issue.

We apologize for the inconvenience. At this time, we do not have the ability to reserve items for our subscription boxes. Unfortunately, many of our styles were very popular and sold out. We are in the process of revising how our subscription program works, in the meantime, we have resolved the issue to your satisfaction via email.
