Under the Sun Improvements installed an Oasis sunroom manufactured by ************************ (*****, ****) on my home in September 2022. Due to poor quality and performance, I posted a negative review on the ***** website in October 2022. On 10/11/22, I received a response from ***********************, national sunroom sales manager at *****, requesting to visit my house the following day as he would be in the area. He copied ******************* of Under the Sun in the email. Both *********************** and ******************* visited my home on 10/12/22. I pointed out to them that the windows did not close tightly and there was a gap at the bottom of every window lacking weatherstripping. In addition, I pointed out to them that there was a draft at the top of every window where the unit connected to the header beam. ***** indicated that this could be corrected with calking installed on the outside of the window without impacting my warranty and he would ship the color matched **** to Under the Sun for installation and he would look into the weatherstripping issue. On Oct. 15,2022, I notified both *********************** and Under the Sun Improvements that a crack had opened along a weld seam in the window and it was traveling into the vinyl molding (think of a crack in your windshield that spreads). A weld fail is a manufacturing failure. On 10/17/22, I received an email from *********************** in which he referenced a discussion with ******************* on a plan of action to correct/improve the issues I raised. He indicated in his email that calking materials had been shipped to Under the Sun and he would work with Under the Sun to address the cracked frame. On 11/3/22, ******************* called and indicated that he was waiting for the calking materials. Well, it is nearly a year later, I never heard again from Under the Sun and the windows have not been corrected. I sent an email to both *********************** and Under the Sun on 9/22/23, still waiting on repairs & in addition, dead bolt is not working and door sill is broken.
