On 6/22/21 I was solicited to have my driveway patched and sealed. Cost was $3000 for complete work and paid upon completion on 6/24/2022. The work was unacceptable, as acknowledged by E Sprague Paving on 4/27/2022. Patches were so elevated above driveway surrounding that they were scraped down and left holes in the pavement over the winter. I asked to have this work repaired completely and on 9/12 the old patches were removed, and all were replaced except one. They now steadfastly refuse to seal with an oil-based sealer as stipulated, leaving the entire driveway and the new patches exposed to the elements. "We replaced the patches, and you are not getting an oil coating." This is the response from the woman on the phone. We are not going to coat it - you don't need it.I have two other local companies who have given me an appraisal and estimate. Both agree that the patches are fine, but the oil based sealer needs to be applied to maintain it.I am looking for a resolution with E Sprague making this right. Over the phone, she basically admitted that the entire budget was used up on the increased cost of asphalt, and there is nothing left to purchase the sealer.
