Wild Country Plumbing does take responsibility for correcting a problem that occurs within 3-4 days after service provided.6/13/24 Company employee came to our home, displayed a work order for replacing Universal Flush Valve. Did NOT introduce himself. Did NOT provide information re: services completed when work completed. After he left, Owners of home noted property damage that had been done by said employee driving ******* van. TC made to business that afternoon. Call went to VM. Message left re: property damage.6/15-16/24 owners noted intermittent 5 secs of running water from tank into commode, which continued. 6/17/24 Received call from ******* in response to our call. Appt. made for owner, ****, to view property damage.6/19/24 ***** ******* owner came to review property damage. He agreed to cover the cost of repairs. He was informed of the water leak. He repaired the cause of the leak. Did NOT provide information re: service done.Owners considered that since the leak had begun within 3-4 days of original service, that the repair needed on 6/19/24 would be covered as part of the ******* standing behind their work. We were WRONG! A few days later we received a bill for the repair of the leak that occurred 3-4 days AFTER the replacement of the Universal Flush Valve. We were told that it was not covered because we did not inform them of the problem prior to the owner coming to home to review the property damage. We will not recommend a ******* that does not explain to homeowner the services provided and does not accept responsibility for correcting a problem that occurs within a few days of original services provided.

Hello Mrs. McBurney, thank you for taking the time to review our company. We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience with us. We strive to provide the best service possible. In this scenario there are some discrepancies with what actually occurred. Our tech did introduce himself to Mr. McBurney upon arrival, this is standard protocol. Property damage was not reported to our office until 6/17. Upon review of the property damage it could not be determined whether WCP was at fault or not, which at the time said we would cover the cost to fix this. For the fix that occurred on 6/19, Mr. McBurney observed the work that was conducted and received a thorough explanation of what was being done and why the problem was occurring. On this particular day I had an apprentice with me, so it was used as a teaching moment. Had the part that was replaced been one that was replaced on the original call, this would have been covered under our craftmanship warranty, but that was not the case. Our billing supervisor explained that to Mrs. McBurney and either way would have received a bill for work conducted either on the initial trip or as it ultimately ended up, on the second trip. We wish you the best and best of luck with you and the plumber you find in the future.
