I paid the full treatment for smile direct club paid a total of $2000+ and my teeth made no difference in fact got worst. My dentist told me my teeth became even more sensitive, and smile direct got me a touch up but it made no difference, I tried getting a refund and did not get oneReview from Kamille T

My daughter suggested I use SDC, because she heard about them opposed to going the traditional road. At first, the treatment was ok even though my teeth were in pain, my gums were so sore, and my jaws were raw. I wanted my gap closed and one bottom tooth straighten. Many of aligners split. My gap closed some but not completely, my bottom tooth didn't even move, I kept bitting my jaws, and my teeth were very sore. Moreover, my retainers didn't properly fit. I went back and was told some teeth are just stubborn. I have called and emailed no help. Meanwhile, my teeth are still not right. I have an appointment with a lawyer next week. They will not receive anymore money from me. I hope to get a class action suit. They need to be exposed and stopped, immediately. They refuse to honor "HolidaySmile23" 20% promo code, will be filing with BBB, FCC & Consumer Affairs. This problem originally started out as referring a friend for them to get $250 off their treatment and I would get $250 for any additional services...they will not honor! I too had treatment several years ago, it didn't work because I needed a 3rd treatment and then Covid hit and they refused to continue treatment despite their so-called "guarantee".SmileDirectClub Response

Kept charging me and asking for more money. My teeth look the same and the aligners didn’t even fit properly. They refused to help me after I called them 5 times over a one year period asking for help with correcting the alignment issueSmileDirectClub Response

This entire company seems like a scam. I started treatment in March 2023 and was finished by July 2023. Upon finishing treatment, the retainers that were sent to me did not fit my teeth. I had to call smile direct multiple times to try to get this corrected. The employees I spoke with were not very helpful as the pictures they took over the video were said to be not enough to get new retainers. It wasn’t until I escalated further that I was then scheduled an in person visit for another scan in order to get new retainers. Now that I have the retainers, I’ve realized my teeth are now being pushed up into my gums and have been constantly bleeding for months now. I chose to go this route over Invisalign and now I’m regretting it. I’ve had braces in the past and this has never occurred. I would not recommend this company to anyone.SmileDirectClub Response

Please do yourself a huge favor and go with another company for this product. I’ve had nothing but issues not only with the overall results and quality of the product being sold by SMD (smile direct club) but also with the absolute worst customer service known in any service industry I’ve ever taken part of. They’ve tried to charge me fees that were never spoken of, and constantly try to cover up their mistakes. If anything goes wrong, which it will trust me, it’s almost impossible to get in-touch with anyone and once you do it’s just someone who speaks broken English that doesn’t know how to help with the situation and ends up just hanging up in confusion. Just keep your stress levels low and stay away from this company, they’ve already claimed bankruptcy because of all the lawsuits they’ve stacked up, I’m just hoping this company crashes soon without it hurting its customers anymore than they already have.SmileDirectClub Response

I waited an entire year until this product went on sale. Even on sale it is more than I can afford but I saved up specifically for it and it means a lot to me. Despite me reaching out both by phone and by email with no response at all whatsoever when I finally received my aligners there were only the aligners for the top teeth. They didn't ever reach out to me to say we can only do your top teeth do you still want to pay this much for the treatment. Now I'm only getting half the treatment and they will not refund me half the price. I feel that this is entirely unfair because the decision was taken completely out of my hands. They should have reached out to me but instead they didn't even respond when I tried to reach out to them. Now the sale on their competitors is over if they had asked me I would have said cancel my order I'm going with somebody else but now I can't afford to go if somebody else and I'm only getting half the treatment. Do not purchase anything from this company. Ended up negatively impacting my teeth which caused me significant cost to fix with my dentist. They refused to refund me what i paid and ended up not responding all together to my support emails.SmileDirectClub Response

This company is a rip off, The aligners never fitted properly. I had to constantly call in and speak to dental experts, they took multiple moldings of my teeth and pictures. I didn’t get a full experience of my treatment plan at that point the dental supervisor stated that since it’s been too many moldings and the aligners not fitting properly we will cancel your treatment plan and you will not be charged, but I keep getting collections calls and now it’s in my credit report regarding the balance they were supposed to adjust. The aligners never fitted I left off on aligner 4 and nothing else. I have called smile direct club numerous of times and they keep telling me to reach out to the collection agency.
