              We had a house built thru AHP and it was finished in August of 2021 . We have done nothing but complain and complain and complain from day 1 about the paint in our home . The painters they work with should not be allowed in customers homes . They have been in my home on multiple occasions and over a year later we are still unhappy . And instead of someone from AHP coming out and inspecting their work after all these visits they just basically take their word that every thing is good I guess . I am very unhappy with the quality and workmanship of this company and I will never recommend them to anyone . It’s been over a year later since we have moved in and the paint issues are still going on to absolutely no resolve now . And we are just stuck with paying for this house however it looks and that is by far not ok to take customers money and turn a blind eye to the problems . I understand that there are warranties and deadlines for this company but if they hired Qualified Quality professionals to paint these houses then I wouldn’t still be unhappy over a year later !! They are to Blame for who they hire and send out to build these houses .

              Septic tank has failed after 6 months of use, windows and doors are installed incorrectly, house was built 14 inches to low, insulation missing in walls, plumbing was installed in the concrete slab in the wrong locations, light switches installed in the wrong side of the door

              For over 50 years, America's Home Place has provided exceptional customer service. Occasionally, things happen beyond our control. In this particular case, the customer's lot contained bad soils. The Department of Environmental Health let the customer know in advance that the lot contained poor soils for the installation of a septic system. A third party company installed the septic system according to the plans and specifications given by the department. America's Home Place does not and cannot guarantee that the customer's land will perform well when poor soil conditions exist. Regardless of that fact, we have tried to assist this customer with a resolution in this matter. The other items mentioned in the complaint were all resolved during the construction process. We will continue to try to help this customer with a resolution to the problem caused by the poor soils. Thank you,
