I purchased a denim skirt on Target.com. I returned the brand-new item with a tag, even in its own bag, with the Target-provided Fedex label. The tracking showed delivered, but I did not get my refund. After waiting for three weeks, I contacted Target. I was told the warehouse could not locate my return; therefore, it is not refundable. I am furious. I responded to customer service email two times, but they still have not refunded me. I wonder why I must pay the cost if the seller and warehouse cannot locate my return package.Review from Adrianna A

I have been a loyal Target customer for nearly 3 decades, my mother has been a loyal target customer since before I was born. My mother is in her 70s, on social security and a fixed income. She had an issue with her iPhone, and when she contacted who she thought was Apple customer support, it turned out to be a scammer and within moments they got into her phone, access to her email, credit cards and so forth. They immediately bought two $100 target gift cards with her target card which was saved in her phone, she received an email about these gift cards and contacted target, but by then of course the they had been used by the scammers. Those same scammers also tried to use her other non target credit card, luckily they tried to spend more than the limit and it was declined, allowing her to cancel. She also immediately canceled her target card so it could not be used again. Unfortunately she was not so lucky with the gift cards, she contacted target fraud department to explain the situation and after their investigation she said that she was liable for these charges because she didn't change her pin number, she told them that she had canceled the entire card and that is why the pin wasn't changed. They said she is liable and they will allow her to make a payment plan. I am appalled at the way this was handled. Target, do better. $200 may seem like nothing to you, but living on social security and a fixed income this type of fraud can be devastating. You have lost two lifetime loyal target customers. I am so disappointed in how this was handled. A****** AReview from jas w

Ordered a window fan online from Target. Initially, they said I could pick it up at their Strongsville, OH store, which is 13 miles away. Later, I got an e-mail saying that they didn't have it, but one was at their Willoughby, OH store, which is 23 miles away. Picked up the item, and when I brought it home, I noticed that the box was taped shut. When I opened the box, the fan was both dirty and broken. They sold a used, broken item as a new item.Review from Marguerite T

Target is the worst store for accomplishing a cell phone purchase and activation done by only certain employees who are not there on a daily basis. Not only is there no one to help you in the department, it involves walking back to the customer service desk so they can page someone to assist you. I was in the store for over 2 hours and never accomplished what I wanted to do. The young lady who was called to assist me only had knowlede of the phone I was interested in buying from her cell phone. I asked her what kind of guarantee does it have and that it is usually a year. All she could answer was saying that I could buy a protection plan. Later on from her phone again, she discovered I was right that it did have a one year guarantee. All information I got was online and I only went to the Target in Middle river so the phone could be activated right away. She explained to me that she was not able to activate the phone but Shane the tech could. Of course, Shane was not there and she did not know his schedule. I ask you is this any way to run a department. ? It is sad that Target's store manager allows this chaos to go on & lose customers like myself.Review from Chosenone

Be aware of Target's promotional gift cards. I placed an on-line order on 8/16/24. Apparently, I qualified for a gift card due to the amount of purchase. The problem is that when I got my invoice the amount was $66.81. When I checked my bank account an additional $15 was deducted. The promotional card is mailed to you. What happens is that the $15 (amount of the gift card) is deducted from the original amount which was supposed to be $81.81, once you pick up your order the $15 (gift card amount) is deducted from your bank account, which is not explained on the invoice, neither is it explained where the promotional gift card is displayed. This causes confusion and a potential for a bank overdraft. BEWAREReview from Rosalina T

My husband and I visited Target Friendswood TX 8/9/24 and made two different transaction to be be able to qualify for the $20 giftcard and $30 reward. My husband and I had been also been give a $50 email gcard we planned on using.1.)Being that we wanted to get rewards my husband purchased over $100 (receipt # 4222-1837-****-**** in diapers and wipes and was given $20 gcard. We have a newborn baby and needed lets of diapers and wipes anyways2.) I made another different purchase that same night (receipt #4222-1837-****-****) and used the $50 gcard from email and $20 given to us from the diaper purchase, but being that our purchases werent over $70 due to not knowing alcohol was excluded from the $30 promotion so we ended visiting guest services and they recommended we return the everything and re-purchase everything. We were given back the $50 gcard and $20 gcard back3.) My husband went back to repurchase everything while I had to go to car and feed newborn, and for some reason the cashier only applied $38 of gcard to the transaction and was never given back the rest of the funds in a gcard (receipt 4222-1837-****-****). The next day we visited the Target store to explain the situation and this man that was all tatted with no form of identification walks up to us and starts arguing and says "he'll bet his job that we were given back the gcard" I felt like I was treated like a criminal after spending thousands of dollars and having my registry at Target. The staff member looked like he got straight of prison and looked like he was ready to fight us. We are a married couple with a newborn who just wanted our gift card back in some physical form and instead of being apologized to and being helped we were mistreated and targeted as liarsReview from Mindy W

I had a horrible experience with Target today and it seems like no one cares. I was hung up 3 times! Very disrespectful that nobody was able to help me. I’ve been waiting for a call back and no one has reached out to meReview from Ja V

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I earned $30 in target circle rewards. I tried applying it to my order and it did not work!! I then contacted target and they tried telling me that the rewards could not be used on same day deliveries. However, the legal terms state that you in fact can use it on same day deliveries. Target stole $30 from me.Review from James D

Target corporation is it disgrace to the United States and its citizens, and patrons that fund these stores. They allow people to steal with no consequences therefore, raising the prices from 100 to 300% in the minimum that I have seen in the past few months to make up for their loss prevention. DEI, policies and lack of concern for their workers safety and the people shopping in their is a disgrace this business should not be rated A+. You should read all the reviews and give an honest report. You’re deceiving the American people and your credibility is on the line as a business rating organization. Disgusting.
